Guideliness for warranty claims
WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR POWERHOUSE AND POWERPLUS PRODUCTS
Appropriate POWERHOUSE and POWERPLUS Products, which are covered by this policy, have a limited Warranty. The Warranty Agreement, inclusion, and exclusion, as stipulated on both the warranty card and on this site are binding. Warranty cards are available for Appropriate POWERHOUSE and POWERPLUS Products only.
WARRANTY PERIOD AND CALCULATION
- Under warranty period shall mean from the date of purchase of the product of the End-User from the Power House Vendor with the proof of purchase such a Sales Invoice, manual or machine-generated, issued by the said Powerhouse Vendor indicating the date when the product was purchased, product model, serial number and name of the end-user.
- In case the Proof of Purchase is not available, End-user shall be asked to present a signed/validated Certificate of Purchase from the Powerhouse Vendor where the product was purchased indicating the model, serial number, and date of purchase.
- In the absence of either Proof of Purchase or Certificate of Purchase from the dealer, the cost of parts shall be chargeable to the End-user once damage to the product is assessed by a Powerhouse Authorized Service Center as due to misuse or abuse of the product and not due to manufacturing defect. The Powerhouse Authorized Service Center must secure signed confirmation from the end-user on agreeing to the charges for the cost of the parts.
REPAIR AND SERVICE
- All products for repair or servicing should be brought to the Powerhouse Authorized Service Center only.
WARRANTY EXCLUSION
- Defects or damage caused by accident, fire, flood, lightning or other natural calamities or acts of God.
- Units that have had their serial number altered or removed.
- Physical damage due to improper handling.
- Defects or damage caused by household pest.
- Units which have been altered, modified, tampered with or had been repaired by anyone other than PASC in a manner which has affected the performance and stability of the product.
- Defects or damage caused by abuse, misuse, mishandling, negligence, use of non-approved accessories or consumables, or failure to observe the instruction in the Handling Manual furnished at the time of the original purchase.
- Units that were operated beyond the situation stated in the manual, including but not limited to improper installation, incorrect and/or unstable power supply, or voltage fluctuations.
- Liquid infiltration or use of harsh chemicals on the unit which has caused corrosion on the product.
